When a Nation wants to honor individuals who have done service to their Nation or culture that is above and beyond the ordinary, they have several avenues open to them. One of the most practical is the commemorative stamp as it is quick, public and brings income back to the Nation |

Their Majesty's plan to issue the first commemorative stamp of the Kingdom of Hawai'i in over a hundred years. It will bear Her Excellency Ethel Abreu's image. |

Another candidate for such an honor would be Dr. hc Delano Mueller who for many years has been the Kingdom of Hawaii - Nation's Ambassador to the United Nation and is personally responsible for so much of the international "good will" that our Nation and people have received over the years. |
